1. Leave granted.
2. The appellant challenges the judgment and order dated
10.12.2025 passed by the High Court of Punjab & Haryana at
Chandigarh in CR No. 4281/2005.
3. Learned counsel for the parties submitted that all the
disputes and differences between the parties have been amicably
resolved.
4. We are happy to record with satisfaction the efforts put in
by learned counsel for the parties in making the parties
understand the advantages and benefits of having the dispute
amicably resolved.
5. We are also happy to record that the parties, after some
negotiations have entered into a settlement.
6. The terms of the settlement are as under:
(a) The respondent-landlord has agreed to transfer all rights,
including that of ownership of the land/ premises built
thereupon, either in favour of the appellant or any person
nominated by him.
(b) The same shall be done for a consideration of Rs.

1,75,00,000/- (Rs. One crore Seventy Five Lakhs only), to be paid
by the appellant to the respondent in six equal installments
commencing from 01.03.2026.
