casestatus.in provides free access to publicly available court case information from Indian courts. The Service includes case status lookups, court orders, hearing dates, and AI-generated summaries of court proceedings.
3. Intellectual Property
While underlying court records are public data, the following elements are proprietary to casestatus.in and protected by copyright:
- AI-generated case summaries and primary holdings
- Curated metadata, enriched fields, and structured data
- Website design, layout, and user interface
- Any original analysis or commentary
4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service or extract data in bulk
- Reproduce, copy, or redistribute AI-generated summaries or enriched content from the Service
- Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, access controls, or other protective measures
- Use the Service to build a competing product or service
- Overload or interfere with the Service's infrastructure
- Access the Service's API endpoints for purposes other than individual case lookups
5. Rate Limiting
API endpoints are rate-limited to ensure fair access for all users. Excessive requests from a single source may be temporarily blocked. If you receive an HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) response, wait before retrying.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. casestatus.in does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed.
