UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. We find no legal impediment or any constitutional violation in
the expression “is or has been a Sessions Judge” contained in
Section 20(2)(a) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
The misconceived challenge on the premise that it violates any
constitutional provision, thus, has no legal foundation.
2. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
