O R D E R
1. Learned counsel for the parties have jointly
stated that these matters can be disposed of in
view of the resolution passed by the General
Council of the Bar Council of India in its meeting
dated 11.01.2026. A copy the said resolution has
been placed before us.
2. In terms of the decision of the General
Council, the period of moratorium has been done
away with and, therefore, the petitioner(s) would
be entitled to apply in accordance with the
resolution for the academic year 2026-2027. In case
of any difficulty, the petitioner(s) are at liberty
to approach the Bar Council of India, either by
submitting a physical application or through the

online portal, if operational, and the same shall
be considered by the Bar Council of India.
3. Writ Petition(s) are, accordingly, disposed
of.
4. Pending application(s) shall also stand
disposed of.
