We have heard the learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the appellant and the learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents. 3. As against the order passed by the High Court quashing the criminal proceedings, the present appeals have been preferred. 4. Upon hearing the learned ASG and the learned senior counsel for the respondent(s), we find that it is too early for the High Court to have interfered at that stage. In our considered view, the High Court should have allowed the investigation to complete, followed by filing of the chargsheet. 5. In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the case, we are inclined to set aside the impugned orders.
2 6. In the event that the final report goes against the respondents, liberty is given to them to take appropriate action in the manner known to law. Subject to the continuous cooperation of the respondents with the investigation, no coercive steps shall be taken against them. 7. The appeals are allowed, accordingly. 8.
