The petitioner then filed a writ petition praying that the matter should be investigated under the supervision of an officer of the rank of Indian Police Service (for short ‘IPS’) or any other independent agency. The said writ petition has been dismissed by the High Court mentioning that the investigation, which is going on, has not been completed and also on merits there is no reason that the matter be investigated by an IPS officer. Challenging the said order, the petitioner had filed a 1
Special Appeal before the Division Bench, which has been dismissed on the ground of maintainability. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner, who appears in-person, has filed this special leave petition. Having heard petitioner-in-person and having gone through the record, we do not find any ground for interference with the order passed by the Writ Court. It is not the right of the petitioner to have the matter investigated through any particular person or agency. The law shall take its own course. Since the matter is already under investigation, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter. The special leave petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
