M.A. NO. 575/2026 O R D E R Heard learned counsel for the petitioners/applicants. 2. IA No. 54985/2026 has been filed seeking extension of time granted to the petitioners to deposit 30% of the compensation amount awarded by the Trial Court, so as to maintain the appeal before the High Court, which was dismissed for non-payment. 3. By order dated 05.01.2026, this Court has not interfered in the order impugned in SLP(Criminal) No. 20722 of 2025 dated 26.09.2025 to deposit 30% of compensation amount. However, by way of grace, further six weeks time was granted to the petitioners to deposit the 30% of the compensation amount. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as the wife of petitioner no.2 is suffering from cancer, he was not able to fully comply with the order and the Court may grant one last indulgence by further extending the period to deposit the same. It was submitted that the petitioner no.2 has made arrangement of about Rs.7,00,000,/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs), which he would deposit by tomorrow, i.e., 17.03.2026. 5. Having regard to the aforesaid, the Court by taking a sympathetic view in the special facts and circumstances of the present case, is persuaded to grant 2

M.A. NO. 575/2026 one last indulgence. Accordingly, the time indicated in the order dated 05.01.2026 stands extended by a further period of four weeks from today, subject to the petitioners depositing a sum of Rs.7,00,000,/- (Rupees Seven Lakhs) by tomorrow, i.e., 17.03.2026, and balance within four weeks. 6.
