Delay condoned. 2. We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned interim order passed by the High Court granting stay of operation of the impugned judgment and decree of the trial court till 8 th May, 2025; hence, the special leave petition stands dismissed. 3. However, we grant liberty to the petitioner (respondent before the High Court) to file his counter affidavit to the application for stay being CM Application No. 31876 of 2024 within 10 (ten) days from date.

2 4. The respondent (appellant before the High Court) shall be at liberty to file his rejoinder affidavit within seven days thereafter. 5 . We request the learned Judge of the High Court to consider the desirability of disposing of the said stay application on 8 th May, 2025 or soon thereafter, subject to his convenience.
