Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the period of incarceration, i.e. since 15.08.2023, and also the fact that other co-accused have already been granted bail, either by the Sessions Court, High Court or this Court, we are inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. We have been informed that in the trial, out of 70 witnesses, 32 witnesses have been examined. We, accordingly, direct the trial court to expedite the hearing of trial and conclude the same within a period of one year. It goes without saying that both the prosecution and defence shall cooperate in the conclusion of the trial and in case the trial court finds that the accused are trying to delay the disposal of the trial, it would be open for the State or the Trial Court to communicate this Court regarding such conduct of the accused so that this Court may pass appropriate orders.
