Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 24.01.2014,Mr.Rajeev Sadanandan as well as the Commissioner for Entrance Examinationshave appeared in person today. They have been explained as to why thisCourt has been insisting for only two counselling for admissions to MBBSand other medical courses. Having considered all the aspects of the matter, we drop thecontempt proceedings and treat the same as closed. However, we make it clear that the respondents/allegedcontemnors or the authorities of the State Government will not repeat thepractice of holding more than two counselling in future.
