UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The short issue that arises for consideration is the pendency of a regular bail application i.e., Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No.40366/2025, before the High Court of Judicature at 1

Allahabad. This matter was last listed before the High Court on 06.01.2026. 3. The petitioner is an accused in ECIR/LKZO/19/2024 registered at the Lucknow Zone of the Directorate of Enforcement. It is alleged that the petitioner and other co-accused collected more than Rs.522 crores from homebuyers and duped them by not delivering the promised apartments/units. In connection with this, the petitioner was arrested on 16.04.2025. He moved a bail application before the High Court in which notice was issued on 17.11.2025. Thereafter, the matter was adjourned to 09.12.2025, on which time to file the rejoinder affidavit was granted. The matter was again listed on 06.01.2026 and 04.02.2026, but could not be taken up for hearing. 4. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that no further date has been fixed by the High Court. Since the matter pertains to the petitioner’s liberty and it is claimed that the matter has not been listed after 04.02.2026, we dispose of this Special Leave Petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the petitioner’s claim, with a direction to the Registrar (Judicial) of the High Court to list the above-stated bail application on a date in the week commencing 09.03.2026. We request the learned Single Judge of the High Court to make an endeavour to decide the same at the earliest. 4. The Special Leave Petition stands disposed of, with pending application(s), if any.
