Ms. Prerna Singh, Adv. UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the standing counsel for the respondent-State. The petitioner is aggrieved of the Order of the Division Bench of the High Court dated 10.11.2014 declining to grant him parole. The petitioner wanted to meet his 86 years old father, who, as stated, is suffering from serious ailment. The medical certificates were also placed before the High Court in
2 support of the ailment of his father. Mr. K.K. Mani, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is granted limited parole for ten days. He further submitted that the petitioner will ensure his availability to surrender, that he will report to the concerned Police Station every day in the morning at 10.00 a.m. Learned counsel submitted that the petitioner's family being agriculturist is having very limited income and they are not in a position to bear the expenses of the Police Escort. Learned standing counsel for the respondent-State submitted that the petitioner should report to Police Station G.D. Nellore, Chitoor Rural East Circle, on the dates of the parole. Having considered the respective submissions, we grant ten days parole to the petitioner herein to meet his aged father, which shall commence from the date of production of a copy of this Order. As undertaken by the petitioner, he shall report at Police Station G.D. Nellore, Chitoor Rural East Circle on all the ten days of parole at 10.00 a.m. in the morning and
3 the petitioner should surrender on the eleventh day after the period of parole is over. A copy of this order be communicated to the Superintendent, Central Prison, Kadapa, forthwith.
