1 IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL ORIGINAL JURISDICTION Transfer Petition(Civil)  No.811/2022 NAMRATA SINGH                                      Petitioner(s)                                 VERSUS VIKAS YADAV @ BITTU YADAV                          Respondent(s)                             O R D E R The petitioner (wife) seeks transfer of the Petition for Divorce bearing H.M.A. Case No.331/2021 titled “Vikas Yadav @ Bittu Yadav vs Namrata Singh” filed by the respondent (husband) under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, which is pending before the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The petitioner (wife) seeks transfer of the above­stated case to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, South­West, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi. As per the Office Report dated 12­12­2022, service of show cause notice is complete on the respondent (husband)  but he has not entered  appearance. Keeping in view the distance between the two places, which is more than 330 km, and the fact that the petitioner is residing with her old parents at Delhi, but without expressing any views on the merits of the case, we allow the Transfer Petition and consequently H.M.A. Case No.331/2021 titled “Vikas Yadav @ Bittu Yadav vs Namrata Singh”, pending before the Court of Principal

2 Judge, Family Court, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, is ordered to be transferred to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, South­West, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi.
