We are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order. The special leave petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, eight weeks’ time is granted to the petitioner to surrender and move for regular bail before the concerned Trial Court. As and when such prayer is made, it shall be considered expeditiously. We make it clear that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. For the period of eight weeks, the petitioner shall be protected from arrest.
