RESPONDENT(S) O R D E R By the order dated 04.09.2024, the parties were referred to mediation and have settled their disputes, vide Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024. The Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024 received from the Supreme Court Mediation Centre 1 is taken on record. The petitioner, Neeti, and the respondent, Arihant Khicha, have signed the Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024. The Settlement Agreement is also signed by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and the Mediator nominated by the Coordinator of the SCMC. We have interacted with the learned counsel for the parties, who are present in Court, and have affirmed that they have interacted with the parties. The parties have willingly signed the Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024 without any force or pressure. The parties are bound and will abide by the same. We have also interacted with the respondent, Arihant Khicha and his mother through video-conferencing, who have similarly affirmed. 1 “SCMC”, for short. 1

(C) No. 744/2024 Learned counsel for the parties also jointly state that orders may be passed by this Court in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024 in exercise of power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner and the respondent got married on 28.08.2020 at Arya Samaj Mandir, New Delhi. The parties had earlier entered into a Settlement Agreement, pursuant to which a sum of 20,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs only)₹ was paid by the respondent, Arihant Khicha, to the petitioner, Neeti. However, thereafter, disputes and differences had arisen. Consequently, in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 24.09.2024, a sum of 5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) was paid₹ by the respondent, Arihant Khicha, to the petitioner, Neeti, by way of e-transfer on 24.09.2024. A Demand Draft for 25,00,000/-₹ (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs only) 2 has been handed over today by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, which has been accepted. In view of this factual background, we deem it appropriate to exercise our power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India, dissolving the marriage inter se the parties with effect from the date of this Order. A decree of divorce by mutual consent is passed. We also exercise our power under Article 142 of the Constitution of India and hereby quash/dispose of the following 2 D.D. No.004033 dated 23.09.2024 issued by A U Small Finance Bank in favour of the petitioner, Neeti. 2
