Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we direct that the petitioner be granted bail by the trial court, if he presents himself before the trial court within two weeks from today and files an application for bail with an advance notice to the public prosecutor. The trial court will be at liberty to impose such conditions as it may deem necessary. The special leave petition is accordingly disposed of. Since this order is being passed ex-parte, the respondents shall be at liberty to move this Court, if aggrieved. Pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
