However, we request the High Court to expedite the hearing of Criminal Appeal No.1280 of 2013. In case the appeal is not disposed of within one year from today, the petitioner is free to renew his prayer for bail, in which case the High Court may pass appropriate orders, taking into consideration the fact that by that time the petitioner would have spent around seven years out of ten years of imprisonment.
