CA No. 7955/ 2023 (@ SLP (C) No. 12038/ 2018) 08.01.1990, the letter dated 19.11.2009 and also the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Employees) Pension Rules, 1995, the respondent would be entitled to his own contribution of provident fund with interest and GSLI only. 3) In view of the subsequent event of submission of the resignation by the respondent No.1 which shall come into effect from 31.12.2023, and in view of the acceptance of the said resignation from 31.12.2023, the employee relationship shall come to an end. Thus, no life survives in this appeal and it is rendered infructuous. 4) On the basis of the said subsequent development, we set aside the impugned order dated 13.02.2017 passed by the High Court and dispose of this civil appeal.
