This Court while issuing notice on 20.01.2020, granted interim protection to the petitioner herein and directed him to cooperate in the investigation at all stages. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as also the learned Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondent – State. Taking into consideration the nature of dispute between the petitioner and the complainant and more particularly keeping in view the fact that the co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by the High Court, we deem it appropriate to make the interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 20.01.2020 absolute. Ordered accordingly.
