Case Summary: CC No. 370/2022 On August 13, 2020, forest officials from Gulf of Mannur Marine Wildlife National Park intercepted two vehicles near Regunathapuram cemetery. They seized four decomposed sea turtles from an Omni van (TN 65 AE 9127) driven by Al Udhay, and apprehended Zahir Hussain in a two-wheeler (TN 65 AJ 4764) following behind. Both confessed that the turtles were being transported to a cremation ground for illegal disposal.
