Interim Orders
This is an ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau) bribery case where witness PW1 (Prashant Nagnath Dalvi) testified on 16.05.2026 about a trap laid on 06.08.2014. The witness, fitted with a voice recorder and anthracene powder-marked currency notes, met accused Raosaheb Kamble (a public servant) at Karkamb sub-division office. Kamble demanded Rs.500 bribe but accepted Rs.400 in four notes handed over by the witness. After the handover, ACB officials immediately checked Kamble's hands under ultraviolet rays, which showed positive for anthracene powder, confirming receipt of the bribe. The currency notes and Kamble's shirt were seized as evidence. Cross-examination by defence counsel challenged the witness's credibility but proceedings continued. This case analysis is maintained by casestatus.in based on publicly available court records.
