1. Though, the matter has come up for consideration on the bail

application filed by the appellant, the Court has heard the learned

counsel for the appellant on the merits of the appeal also.

2. He submitted that the Trial Court had acquitted the appellant,

however, the High Court has convicted him for the offence under the

NDPS Act. He further submitted that the appellant has already

undergone about 10 years of sentence out of 15 years and his

sentence be suitably reduced.
