CIVIL APPEAL NOS.14800 - 14801 /2024 SLP(C) No. 12403-12404/2021
O R D E R
Leave granted.
We have heard learned senior counsel appearing
for the parties.
On hearing the parties, we do not find any
willful, deliberate or contumacious act on the part
of the appellant in Civil Appeal Nos. …… of 2024 [@
SLP (C) Nos. 4990-4991/2021]. It is a case where a
decision has been taken consciously after obtaining
opinion from the learned Advocate General.
We are not going into the merits of the case
as it is well open to the respondents to challenge
the decision in the manner known to law. Suffice
it is to state that there is no contumacious act on
the part of the appellant in Civil Appeal Nos. ……
of 2024 [@ SLP (C) Nos. 4990-4991/2021].
2
Accordingly, the contempt proceedings stand
quashed.
All the issues are left open.
The impugned orders are set aside and the
appeals stand allowed.
