IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA INHERENT JURISDICTION

REVIEW PETITION (CIVIL) DIARY NO.75567 OF 2025 IN

SPECIAL LEAVE PETITION (CIVIL) NO. 16746 OF 2025

STATE OF ODISHA & ANR. PETITIONER(S)

VERSUS

GURUDEV SINGH RESPONDENT(S)

O R D E R

In the interest of justice, the defect raised by the Registry is

waived.

There is an inordinate delay of 170 days in filing the present

Review Petition, for which no satisfactory explanation has been

offered by the petitioners.

Thus, though the present Review Petition is liable to be

dismissed on the ground of delay itself, yet we have carefully gone

through the Review Petition and the papers connected therewith.

We are satisfied that no case for review of this Court’s order dated

13.06.2025, dismissing the special leave petition, has been made

out.

The Review Petition is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground

of delay as well as on merits.
