O R D E R
1. The applications for permission to file the instant
Transfer Petitions are allowed.
2. These two Transfer Petitions have been filed by Lakshyaraj
Singh Mewar and his sister Padmaja Kumari Parmar. They belong to the
family of Maharaja Arvind Singh Mewar, who in turn was the successor
to His Highness Maharana Bhagwat Singh Mewar of Udaipur.
3. There is an unfortunate dispute between the parties
regarding succession and the validity of a will. While the first
petitioner seeks the transfer of the proceedings which are pending
before the High Court of Bombay to the High Court of Rajasthan
(Jodhpur Bench), the petitioner in the second petition seeks the
transfer of the proceedings pending before the High Court of
Rajasthan (Jodhpur Bench) to the High Court of Bombay.
4. During the course of the hearing and upon a suggestion

being made by this Court, learned Senior Counsel for the parties
fairly agreed that all the proceedings pending between the parties
be transferred to the High Court of Delhi. In view of such a fair
