O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. The appellant is an accused in FIR No.101/2025
registered at Police Station Kotwali, District Bastar,
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, under Section 20(b) of the
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
The appellant is a resident of Rajasthan. The case of
the prosecution is on 21.03.2025, the police received
information that three persons, carrying approximately
4 kgs. of ganja, were travelling on a red motorbike in
the area. They were intercepted. On search, 30.84 kgs.
of ganja in six packets of approximately 5 kgs. each
is stated to have been recovered from them, including
the appellant. Their bags, mobile phones and red bike
were also seized by the police, and all of them,
including the appellant, were arrested on the spot.

3. The appellant’s main contention appears to be
that only one packet of 5.124 kgs. is said to have
been recovered from him, which is below the commercial
quantity.
4. The High Court vide impugned order dated
27.06.2025 has declined the bail to the appellant.
5. We have heard learned counsel for the parties
and perused the record.
