2. The petitioner was put to trial in the Court of the 3rd
Additional Sessions Judge, Purnia, State of Bihar for the offence
punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
3. The Trial Court held the petitioner guilty of the alleged
crime and sentenced him to undergo imprisonment for life with fine
of Rs. 50,000/-.
