2. Mr. Apoorv Shukla,learned Advocate on Record accepts

notice on behalf of the State.

3. Leave granted.

4. The appellants seek leave to challenge the order dated

20.03.2025 passed by the High Court of Chhattisgarh at

Bilaspur in I.A. No. 1/2025 in Crl. Appeal No.491/2025

titled “Vijay Singh & Ors. vs. State of Chhattisgarh”

whereby the application for suspension of sentence and grant

of bail to the appellants was rejected.

5. The appellants have been convicted and sentenced to

undergo simple imprisonment for seven years alongwith fine

of Rs.1000/- vide order dated 21.02.2025 passed by the

learned Second Additional Sessions Judge, Ambikapur,

SLP (Crl.) Dy.No. 64157/2025

District Sarguja (CG) in Sessions Case No. 37/2024. They

are in judicial custody since 21.02.2025.

6. We have noticed the nature of crime and the manner in

which it was allegedly committed.

7. Having heard learned counsel for the parties, and

perused the material placed on record, we are of the
