1 Leave granted.
2 The impugned order has been passed on the premise that
the proceedings in the predicate offence against the
respondents have resulted in acquittal. It is not in
dispute that as against the judgment of the Special Court
rendering an order of acquittal, an appeal being Criminal
Appeal No. 200049 of 2023 has been filed by the Predicate
Agency and the same is pending consideration.
3 In such view of the matter, the appeal stands disposed of
with the observation that in the event of the said appeal
being allowed, notwithstanding, the impugned order

passed, the present proceedings initiated by the
appellant shall go on.
4 Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
