The appellant, Jahid, is aggrieved by

the judgment and final order dated

11.09.2025 passed by the High Court of

Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh in C.R.M-M

No. 49834/2025, denying him regular bail

in connection with First Information

Report (FIR) No. 601 dated 21.07.2024

registered with Police Station-Sector-58,

District – Faridabad, Haryana, for the

offence punishable under Section 20 of the

Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

Act, 19851 (Section 29 of the NDPS Act was

added during the investigation).

The appellant has been in prison

since 21.07.2024 and the allegation

against him is that his truck was used by

one Narendra Shah for transporting 195 kgs

and 810 gms of Ganja. Admittedly, this

contraband was seized from the house of

Narendra Shah and he stated that he had

transported the same by using the truck

belonging to the appellant from Odisha to

Faridabad, Haryana.

Though the State of Haryana filed its

counter affidavit/reply, there is no

mention therein as to how the prosecution

links the appellant’s truck with the

transport of the contraband from Odisha to

Faridabad, Haryana. There is no mention of
