Leave granted.
The appellant, Anil Saini @ Anil
Kumar, is aggrieved by the judgment and
final order dated 22.07.2025 passed by the
High Court of Punjab & Haryana at
Chandigarh in CRM-M No. 61951/2024,
denying him regular bail in connection
with First Information Report (FIR) No.
112 dated 12.06.2022, for the offences
punishable under Sections 120-B, 420, 467,
468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860
(Sections 506 and 201 of the IPC added
later on). 1
The complainants, who were brought on
record as respondent Nos. 2 to 4, have
filed an affidavit stating that their
issues with the appellant, Anil Saini @
Anil Kumar, have been settled and the
civil suit filed by them against him has
already been withdrawn.
Though the State of Haryana has filed
a counter affidavit/reply, furnishing the
details of as many as 19 other FIRs which
have been registered against the
appellant, Anil Saini @ Anil Kumar, in
relation to, by and large, similar kinds
of offences, we are of the opinion that,
in the light of the settlement by and
between the complainants/respondent Nos. 2
to 4 and the appellant, Anil Saini @ Anil
