STATE OF PUNJAB RESPONDENT(S)

O R D E R

Leave granted.

The appellant, Amar Singh, is

aggrieved by the denial of anticipatory

bail by the High Court of Punjab & Haryana

at Chandigarh, vide order dated 18.07.2025

in CRM-M No. 37699/2025, in relation to

First Information Report (FIR) No. 93/2025

dated 12.04.2025, registered with Police

Station – Dera Bassi, District – SAS Nagar

(Mohali), Punjab, for the offences

punishable under Sections 109, 115(2),

118(1), 117(2), 126(2), 351(3), 191(3),190

and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,

Crl.A. @ SLP(Crl.) No. 16778/2025 1

2023.

By order dated 27.10.2025, this Court

granted protection from arrest to the

appellant, Amar Singh, in relation to the

aforestated FIR, subject to the condition

that he joins and cooperates with the

investigation.

A counter affidavit/reply has been

filed by the State of Punjab, wherein it

is stated that the appellant, Amar Singh,

has joined investigation on 10.12.2025 and

the investigation stands completed insofar

as he is concerned.

In that view of the matter, we find

that no case is made out for custodial

interrogation of the appellant at this

stage.

The appeal is, accordingly, allowed,

setting aside the impugned judgment/...
