ORDER
The present transfer petition has been filed
by the petitioner-wife seeking transfer of Divorce
Petition No. 1194 of 2023, titled as “Umesh Kumar
Vs. Geeta Paneer Selvam”, pending in the Court of
Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Buddha Nagar
to the Court of equivalent jurisdiction at Vashi,
Navi Mumbai, where the petitioner-wife is presently
residing.
With the consent of the parties, the matter
was referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre
but the same was unsuccessful.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Considering the facts and circumstances of
the present case, we are of the view that it is a
fit case for transfer looking to the convenience of
the petitioner-wife.
The Transfer Petition stands allowed
2 T.P.(C) No .49/2024
accordingly.
The Court where proceedings are pending
shall transfer the records to the transferee Court
promptly and without any delay.
If video conferencing facility is available
with the transferee Court, the benefit of the same
shall be extended to the parties.
A copy of this order be sent to the concerned
courts for compliance.
Pending application(s), if any, shall stand
disposed of.
