O R D E R
1. Even on second call, none appears for the respondent.
2. Leave granted.
3. Delay on the part of the appellants of 241 days in
preferring the writ appeal has not been condoned by the
High Court. We have perused the averments made in the
application for condonation of delay.
4. In our view, sufficient cause was made out to condone
the delay. Accordingly, the impugned order is set aside.
I.A. No.1975 of 2023 in the Writ Appeal No.774 of 2023 is
allowed. The High Court to proceed with the hearing of the
appeal.
5. This Appeal is accordingly allowed.

6. To enable the appellants to move the High Court, the
interim relief granted by this Court on 12th February, 2024
will continue to operate for the period of eight weeks from
today.
7. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed
of.
