1. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we do not find that it is a

fit case to exercise our discretion under Article 136 of the Constitution of India.

The Special Leave Petition is, accordingly, dismissed, with liberty to the petitioner

to apply for remission in accordance with the remission policy of the State in

vogue.
