O R D E R
1. The petitioner is a life convict under Section 302 of the
erstwhile Ranbir Penal Code, 1989 (for short, `RPC’) and under
Section 30 of the Arms Act, 1959. He was arrested on 03.04.2006
pursuant to FIR No.18/2006, dated 03.04.2006, at Police Station
Peer Mitha, Jammu. The Trial Court convicted him under Section 302
RPC and sentenced to undergo life imprisonment on 11/13.08.2012.
His Criminal Appeal was dismissed by the High Court on 31.03.2022,
against which he filed SLP(Crl.)No.8028/2022 @ SLP(Crl.)
…….D.No.22936/2022. The said Special Leave Petition was disposed of
on 29.08.2022 in the following terms:
“3. In our considered view, no case to interfere with the concurrent findings of fact, holding the petitioner guilty of committing murder of his three colleagues, punishable under Section 302 of the Ranbir Penal Code, is made out.
4. At this stage, petitioner’s counsel states that the petitioner has already undergone actual sentence of over 16 years 5 months till date without

any remission and is now entitled to premature release.
