IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CIVIL APPEAL NO.13011 OF 2024 (Arising out of SLP(C) No.25579/2024)
RAJIV S. SOMANI APPELLANT
VERSUS
THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA & ORS. RESPONDENTS
O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. Heard learned senior counsel for the parties.
3. We are satisfied that for the reasons assigned by
the High Court in the impugned order dated 30.08.2024,
the mutation in respect of the share of Ms. Jessica Iqbal
Lukmani, which was sanctioned in favour of the appellant,
has been rightly set aside by the Revenue Authorities and
duly affirmed by the High Court.
4. However, it goes without saying that the
observations made by the High Court shall have no bearing
on the merits of the pending civil suit.
5. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed.
