1. Leave granted.
2. The High Court by the impugned judgment and order dated 26th
September, 2024 has declined the appellant’s prayer for bail.
3. The appellant figures as an accused in Crime No. 390/2018 registered at
Police Station Kotwali, District Datia, Madhya Pradesh for commission of
offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 420,467,468,469,471,406,409,120-B of
the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
4. We have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the
materials on record.
5. It is not in dispute that the appellant has been involved in several other
cases of similar nature. He has been convicted in one case but on an application
filed by him seeking suspension of sentence under Section 389 of the Criminal
Procedure, 19731, the High Court at Calcutta by an order dated 24 th November,
2022 has directed his release on bail upon suspension of sentence. In the
other cases, he has been released on bail.

6. Since, in the present case, the investigation is complete and charge-sheet
under Section 173, CrPC has been filed, we see no reason to keep the appellant
under detention p...
