O R D E R
1. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and
taking into consideration the fact that the respondent-wife ex-
facie has no independent source of livelihood, we are not inclined
to transfer the Maintenance Case No.196/2021, pending before the
Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Purnia, Bihar to the Family
Court, Thane, Maharashtra.
2. The Transfer Petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
3. The petitioner, however, shall be at liberty to (i)
request the court concerned to allow him to appear through Video
Conferencing, if such a facility is available there; and (ii) he
may also offer a lump sum amount of permanent alimony to the
respondent-wife, and acceptance of such an offer may be considered
by the court concerned sympathetically and in accordance with law.

4. As a result, the pending interlocutory application also
stand disposed of.
