Leave granted.
The appellant seeks to relax the twin conditions
imposed at the time of granting of bail to the effect
that he has to deposit his passport and to appear
before the Trial Court and report to the police
station. Learned counsel appearing for the
appellant submitted that though the order is being
complied with, the appellant is an oncologist working
in Bangladesh and therefore, he would require his
passport. He cannot appear before the police station
for the aforesaid reason. Additionally, it is
submitted that the investigation is over qua the
appellant.
Learned counsel appearing for the State submitted
that the appellant will have to cooperate with the

conduct of the trial.
Considering the submissions made, we are inclined
to allow this appeal by setting aside the aforesaid two
conditions. Admittedly, the appellant is an oncologist
working in Bangladesh. In such view of the matter, the
permission is given to the appellant to seek return of
his passport and, consequently the other condition
imposed directing the appellant to appear before the
police station is also relaxed. Howeve...
