Leave granted.
This appeal challenges the judgment and order dated
28.08.2024 passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana
in CRM-M-20966/2024(O&M).
The appellant, Mahesh@Neeshu has been facing trial in
connection with a crime registered pursuant to First
Information Report No. 251/2020 dated 15.07.2020 lodged
with P.S. City Sohana, District Gurugram in respect of
offences punishable under Sections 302, 120-B, 201, 216,
148 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860
and Sections 25, 25(1B)(a), 27(1) of Arms Act, 1959.
An application seeking regular bail having been
rejected by the High Court vide impugned order dated
28.08.2024, the appellant has preferred the instant
appeal.

This Court vide its order dated 23.10.2024, issued
notice in the instant matter and passed the following
order:
“Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on
29.11.2024.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to
serve the standing counsel for the respondent/State.”
