SPECIAL LEAVE PETITION (CIVIL) NOS. 3137-3138 OF 2022

RAM SARAN (DEAD) THROUGH LRS. ..... PETITIONER(S)

VERSUS STATE OF PUNJAB & ANR. ..... RESPONDENT(S)

O R D E R

Prayer for open Court hearing in the review petition is

rejected.

Application for discharge of erstwhile Advocate-on-Record is

allowed.

A letter has been circulated on behalf of the legal

representatives of the deceased petitioner, Ram Saran, stating that

one of legal representatives of the deceased, namely, Kuldeep

Singh, inadvertently remained to be brought on record. Applications

for condonation of delay in filing the application for setting

aside abatement, for abatement and for substitution are, therefore,

allowed.

There is delay of 313 days in filing the present review

petition. However, having gone through the review petition and also

the documents enclosed, we do not find any good ground and reason

to review the order dated 21.02.2022.

1

Accordingly, the review petition is dismissed on the ground of

delay as well as on merits.

Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
