IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CRIMINAL APPEAL NO(S).4727 OF 2024 (ARISING OUT OF S.L.P. (CRIMINAL) NO(S).14065/2024)
DEEPESH @ GOLU APPELLANT(S)
VERSUS
THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH RESPONDENT(S)
O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
Leave granted.
There is a serious dispute about the date on which the
appellant has been arrested as noted in the order issuing notice.
In the charge-sheet, a third date is mentioned as date of arrest.
However, apart from the aforesaid controversy, considering the
role ascribed to the appellant and considering the fact that a
charge-sheet has been filed, the appellant deserves to be enlarged
on bail till the disposal of the case.
For that purpose, we direct that the appellant shall be
produced before the Trial Court within a maximum period of one week
from today. The Trial Court shall enlarge the appellant on bail
till the disposal of the case on appropriate terms and conditions
including the condition of regularly and punctually attending the
Trial Court and cooperating with the Trial Court for early disposal
of the case. The learned Public Prosecutor shall be heard before
fixing the terms and conditions.
CRL. APP. @ SLP (C) NO. 14065/2024 1
