Leave granted.
The appellant, Michale Raj, is
aggrieved by the judgment and final order
dated 09.07.2025 passed by the High Court
of Judicature at Madras in Crl. O.P.
12384/2025, denying him regular bail in
connection with Crime/First Information
Report (FIR) No. 7 dated 20.05.2022,
registered with Police Station – HQRS,

Chennai, District – EOW, Tamil Nadu, for
the offences punishable under Sections
409, 120(B), 420, 406, 201, 204, 109 and
34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860;
Sections 3, 5, 21(1), 21(2), 21(3), 23 &
25 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934;
and Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Protection
of Interests of Depositors (in Financial
Establishments) Act, 1977.
The appellant, Michale Raj, has been
in custody since 28.03.2023. Investigation
is still ongoing.
It is an admitted fact that the
appellant, Michale Raj, was apprehended at
Chennai airport, when he returned from
Dubai, on the basis of a lookout circular.
Various allegations have been made
against the appellant, Michale Raj. It is,
however, for the prosecution to establish
the same during the course of the trial.
