O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. A perusal of the impugned order would reveal that the
learned Single Judge of the High Court while granting
anticipatory bail in favour of the appellant has observed
that the learned Trial Judge before accepting bail bonds of
the appellant herein shall verify the criminal antecedents
of the appellant herein. It was further observed that in
the event it is found that the appellant herein has
antecedent of even one case in that event the said order
granting anticipatory bail to the appellant herein shall not
be given effect to.
3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that though
there are certain criminal antecedents against the appellant
herein, the cases are of trivial nature and they have no
bearing on the issue as to whether the appellant herein
should have been granted anticipatory bail or not.
4. As against this, the learned counsel appearing for the
respondent/State submits that the appellant while applying

for anticipatory bail before the High Court has concealed
the facts regarding there have been criminal antecedents
against him and as such, the High Court has rightly imposed
the condition.
