Heard Mrs. Pragya Baghel, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner (wife). Also heard Mr. Hargovind Jha, learned counsel

appearing for the respondent (husband).

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel

for the parties and the fact that other proceeding under the

Domestic Violence Act initiated by the petitioner against the

respondent, is pending before the Authorities in Dwarka, Delhi, we

allow the transfer petition. The Matrimonial Divorce Suit No. 198

of 2023 titled “Gopal Nandan v. Amrita Kumari”, pending before the

Principal Judge, Family Court, Bhagalpur, Bihar is directed to be

transferred to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Dwarka, New

Delhi.

Records of the case would be immediately transferred to the

transferee court.

The parties are directed to appear, either in person or

through an authorized representative or through video-conferencing

if the said facility is available, before the transferee court.

However, in case there is non-appearance, court notice would be

issued to the defaulting party.

The parties may explore the possibility of settlement through
