This appeal challenges the judgment and order dated 25.07.2024
passed by the High Court of Judicature at Patna in Criminal
Miscellaneous No.76494 of 2023.
The appellant herein has been booked for the crime registered
pursuant to FIR No.12 of 2023 dated 10.09.2023 lodged with Economic
Offence Police Station, Patna District, with respect to offences
punishable under Sections 8/20(B)(II)(C), 25, 29 of the Narcotics
Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985.
An application seeking regular bail having been rejected by
the High Court vide impugned order dated 25.07.2024, the appellant
has preferred the instant appeal.
This Court vide its order dated 23.09.2024, issued notice in
the instant matter.
Heard learned counsel for the appellant in support of the
appeal and learned counsel for the State and perused the material
on record.
Learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant

is the Driver of the vehicle, from which about 30 kilograms of
Ganja was recovered. He has nothing to do with the same as he was
