O R D E R
1. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings.
2. The petitioner-wife is seeking transfer of the following proceedings to the
Family Court at Gurugram, Haryana, on the ground that she has a young school
going daughter to look after :
(i) Proceedings under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,
1973 filed by her bearing Misc. Criminal Case No.128 of 2021 titled as
“Savneet Kaur and Anr. vs. Gurnain Singh Chadha” pending before the court
of Principal Judge, Family Court, Nainital Camp Haldwani, Uttarakhand; and
(ii) Divorce proceedings filed by her bearing HMA Petition No.383 of
2023 titled as “Savneet Kaur vs. Gurnain Singh Chadha” pending before the
court of Principal Judge, Family Court at Haldwani, Uttarakhand.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection if the matters are
transferred looking to the convenience of the petitioner-wife and the fact that she

has a young school going daughter to look after.
4. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the transfer petitions are
allowed and the trial Court is expected to proceed in the matter expedit...
