Leave granted.
This appeal challenges the judgment and order dated
01.05.2024 passed by the High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad,
in R/Criminal Misc. Application (For Successive Regular Bail –
After Chargesheet) No. 7613 of 2024.
The appellant Taralkumar Rashminbhai Bhatt has been
facing trial in connection with a crime registered pursuant to
First Information Report C.R. No. 11203024240053/2024 dated
26.01.2024 lodged with Police Station ‘B’ Division, District
Junagadh, in respect of offences punishable under Sections
389, 385, 120B, 114 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860,
and Sections 7 and 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act,
1988.
An application seeking regular bail having been rejected
by the High Court vide impugned order dated 01.05.2024, the
appellant has preferred the instant appeal.
