O R D E R
1. Leave granted.
2. The High Court by the impugned judgment and order
dated 28th June, 2024 has accepted the application of the
respondent no.2 and cancelled the bail granted in favour of
the appellant.
3. The appellant figures as an accused in FIR No.123 dated
01st September, 2021, registered at Police Station-Golmuri,
District-Jamshedpur. It is alleged therein that the appellant
has committed offences punishable under Sections 406, 420,
379, 506, 509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
4. Upon completion of investigation, charge-sheet was filed
on 14th February, 2022.
5. The appellant had been admitted to an order of bail in
anticipation of arrest.
6. The High Court appears to have cancelled the bail
granted in favour of the appellant on the ground that he has
been threatening the informant as well as the witnesses.
7. When asked by the Court, Ms. Pallavi Langar, learned
counsel appearing for the respondent no.1-State of Jharkhand
as well as Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel appearing for
the respondent no.2-informant could not draw our attention
to any complaint lodged by the informant to the effect that
the appellant, while on bail, was threatening her or the
witnesses....
